Scope & trust

Coaching Disclaimer

Fitness coaching supports training and general nutrition behaviours. It is distinct from individualized medical assessment or treatment.

This is a working draft that requires professional review before launch. It is intended to state the coaching scope clearly, not to serve as legal or medical advice.

Educational fitness coaching

Hypertrophy MD coaching is educational and general in nature. It may include exercise programming, technique feedback, progress tracking, accountability and calorie, protein or macro guidance within the scope of fitness coaching.

Not individualized medical care

Coaching is not medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, cure, rehabilitation, medical nutrition therapy or emergency care. A coaching relationship does not create a physician-patient relationship.

Injuries and symptoms

Training may sometimes be modified around a known limitation, but new, worsening or unclear symptoms should be assessed by an appropriate regulated healthcare professional. Clients may be asked to pause or obtain clearance before continuing.

Individual responsibility

Exercise involves risk. Clients are responsible for communicating relevant limitations, using appropriate judgment and following safety guidance. Stop exercising and seek appropriate care if concerning symptoms occur.

Results vary

Results depend on many factors, including training history, adherence, nutrition, recovery, genetics, health status and time. No specific outcome is guaranteed.
